As Mary explores potential matches, she's taken aback when John Mark develops feelings for someone she never expected. Meanwhile, in the coastal town of Joppa, Tabitha faces her own set of trials. Having inherited her uncle's seaside estate, she is determined to transform it into a haven for orphans and widows, aptly named the Refuge.
