Autorenporträt
J.D. Baskin was born and raised in a small "country" town in Southeastern Oklahoma. After serving in the U.S. Navy, most of his working life was then spent with one company, from which he retired as president. He and Eloise, his wife of 56 years, will be "back home" in Waco, Texas in 2016. They have three grown children, Kevin, Karla and Kristy, all of whom have families of their own, which have provided several grandchildren and great-grandchildren for J.D. and Eloise. Their church membership will be with Woodway First United Methodist Church in Woodway, TX.
