The modern family is in a quagmire: On the one hand many myths, clichés and ridiculously high expectations surround the creation of domestic tranquility; on the other hand lie the tremendous demands being placed on parents by rapidly changing societal expectations. Families today have any number of high hurdles to take from the birth of a child to the day they leave the nest. Support is essential to achieving these goals. This volume shows how we can reduce the probability of familial failure and increase the chances of success.
