Elaine King, Director of the Wealth and Well Being Institute at Gibraltar Private Bank, in Coral Gables, Florida, provides families with financial planning strategies and helps them understand, organize, and manage their wealth. She also advises her clients on retirement planning, saving for education, estate planning, and financial competency (for both parents and children). Elaine grew up in Peru and has lived, worked, and studied in Austria, Canada, Japan, Mexico, and the United States. She received an MBA degree from Thunderbird, the American School of International Management. She also completed a postgraduate course at the Bowen Center for the Study of Family. Elaine is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator, a Certified Financial Planner(R) professional, and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst.(TM) She has appeared on CBS and Univision, and has been quoted by the Wall Street Journal, the Journal of Financial Planning, The Miami Herald, Time magazine, Business Week, Financial Planning Magazine, and other national news publications. Elaine also mentors children for Educate Tomorrow and supports CIMA, a shelter for homeless children in her native Peru.
