Cameroon's population is predominantly young, with more than half (63.8%) under the age of 25. As the nation's spearhead, young people must have the assets they need for Cameroon to emerge in 2035. The development of moral judgment is one of the levers that will enable young people to line up on the road to emergence. Statistics gathered in schools from disciplinary board reports for the academic years 2013; 2014; 2015; 2016; 2017; ... are alarming in view of the deviances exhibited by these young students. From 2014 to 2019, there were six cases of violence between students and between students and teachers. Cheating, insults, disobedience, foul language, contempt for elders, lying and stealing are not left out. All these unorthodox attitudes observed in these pupils are deviant, and reflect dysfunctions in their development of moral judgment. Deviance here is understood as a way of being or behaving that deviates from social norms or family values and principles.

En 2022 elle est Docteure en psychologie option psychologie du développement à l¿université de Yaoundé I.
