Some dubious second hand car deals eventually lead to a court appearance and three years in Wakefield Prison. His behaviour rocks the world of his hardworking Catholic family, scandalising his sister-in-law, Catherine, who cannot forgive him for the shame the episode brought. Autorenporträt
Ged Melia is married with two adult children and lives on the West Pennine Moors, just outside the village of Edgworth in Lancashire. After a career in accountancy, general management, and management consulting, Ged now spends his time writing, trading in collectable books and ephemera, writing, and working with a national charity. 'Liverpool' is his third novel and is a distant prequel to 'A Lancashire Story' and 'Family Business'.
