Nelson Bloncourt was inspired to write this book by the real Fanny and Frankie, and his love of everything French! He has worked as a fashion stylist, a photography agent, and is currently a creative director and consultant. His first picture book Fanny, the Flying French Bulldog was received with a rave review from Booklist: "Bloncourt pulls it off with panache. The story is engrossing and its ending satisfying." Bloncourt lives in the hills of San Francisco, California. Nikita Polyansky grew up in Russia and began his artistic studies at age eight and has been drawing and designing ever since-from Broadway shows and operas to Saks Fifth Avenue's famous Christmas window displays to an amusement park attraction in Japan. Nowadays, Polyansky works in entertainment and set design in New York City. He lives in New Jersey with his family.
