Autorenporträt
Harry Louis Gauvin has been creative in business practices and family activities for much of his life. He has a strong sense of integrity and fair play and has displayed this throughout his life. It imbues his books and the lives of Harry and Trisha and their children. Always ready with imaginative stories, Harry has relished his role as father to his four children. They loved hearing his bedtime stories of magical creatures and making fairy play places in their beautiful garden. He taught them to make and fly balsa-wood planes and during their teen years, and they had enormous fun flying them around parks. He completely re-decorated the house for theme parties to which young guests were inspired to design and wear costumes. Harry has an imagination that infuses every aspect of his life, and never more so than when his children and grandchildren are involved. Turine Tran grew up in Saigon and studied design in Vietnam before going to the School of Art, Design and Media in Singapore, then the Edinburgh College of Art for a Master of Arts degree in Illustration. As her career progressed, she has enhanced the fantastical and dreamlike qualities of her work, becoming a skilled visual storyteller. Her illustrations are whimsical and enchanting. Turine constantly explores new aspects of digital art to create rich textures that help set the mood in her artworks.
