Autor

Ted Polhemus is an anthropologist who has focused on youth subcultures, style, design and fashion. His books include Fashion & Anti-fashion, Body Styles, The Customized Body, Street Style, Style Surfing and BOOM! - a baby boomer memoir, 1947 - 2022. He was the external curator of the 'Streetstyle' exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London 1994-1995. Ted has been a Beat, a Modernist, a Hippy, a Glam Rocker, a Punk, and a Goth.
