A New Look at an Ancient Land Scotland is a land that has embraced the future without losing track of what's come before. The hopes of its people's future play out in a country surrounded by its past - a past that offers both potential and caution. Fast 40 offers 40 photos, each with an accompanying 250-word story that captures a moment, a decision, a threat or a promise. The stories are short, and quick to read, but each offers a viewpoint to another life, another world.

Autorenporträt
David Falkirk (1969-?) is an author, writer, photographer, graphic designer, podcaster, recovering journalist and was a self-described geek before it was cool. Born and raised in Indiana, Falkirk enjoys telling stories in whatever form makes the most sense at the time. He has worked on everything from local newspapers to national magazines and international journals. Falkirk has found that writing for wildly different audiences is a great way to stretch yourself as a writer and to challenge yourself in communicating effectively. He lives in Indiana with his wife, Kristen, their Lab, Maggie, and their cat, Lando. The dog and cat refuse to go on wacky adventures, no matter how much Falkirk encourages them to.
