Paye conducts a comprehensive study of the 'fight against terrorism' in the United States, Britain and the European Union. He examines the recent radical shifts in law, taking into account autonomist theory on 'empire' and 'constitutive' political actions. He concludes that in the future we will be subject to increasingly dictatorial forms of sovereignty and escalating internal social divisions.
