We all have darkness in our pasts - now imagine yours has returned with swords drawn, forcing you to lead a fellowship of outcasts and confront unearthly horrors just to spare those you love from the brink of oblivion. CHRISTOPHER T. PARSONS is an elementary school teacher with twenty-eight years of experience. With a masters degree in Elementary Education, he has worked extensively teaching all age groups, and his dramatic background has made him an expert communicator. Christopher's theatrical skills have helped him to make learning engaging and exciting, and they've also allowed him to cross cultural barriers. For many years, he taught overseas in Thailand. Christopher's life in Thailand was a wonderful time. It was there he met his husband, Niddy, and their beloved Korean Jindo dog, Rufus. As Christopher was already a nurturing person, his beautiful surroundings fueled his passion for the natural world. His experiences looking after Rufus have made him an advocate for rescuing animals. He encourages people not to buy pets but to adopt instead, since there are many who are already without homes. Christopher realized that creating children's books was the perfect way to combine all of his passions. Through his writing, he hopes to educate young people, instilling them with a lifelong love of dogs and promoting the power of kindness. These days, Christopher, Niddy and Rufus live in Middlesex County, MA. When he isn't busy teaching and writing, he's also the co-owner and general manager of a Thai restaurant!
