Fatigue fractures are injuries frequently observed in sportsmen and women, and preferentially affect the lower limbs following intense and unusual effort. In the military and sports environment, these fractures were distinguished by different circumstances and risk factors. The aim of the study was to investigate the epidemiological, clinical and radiological features and to specify the treatment and prognostic factors of fatigue fractures of the lower limb in sportsmen. Our study was retrospective and descriptive over a period of 15 years from January 2002 to December 2016, covering 38 cases of fatigue fractures of the lower limbs in sportsmen treated in the orthopaedic surgery department of the Hôpital Militaire Principal d'Instruction de Tunis.
