Patricia Weiss Fagen works for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees in El Salvador and is the author of Exiles and Citizens: Spanish Republicans in Mexico (1973). Manuel Antonio Garreton is a member of the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences in Santiago, Chile.
