PASTOR SAM POLSON is the Lead Pastor of West Park Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. He currently serves on the board of ABWE (Association of Baptists for World Evangelism), having served six years as chairman, and is actively involved in ministry leadership training worldwide. Sam also serves as the board chairman for CedarBrook Outreach, a ministry focusing on the physical, social, and spiritual needs of at-risk families in Knoxville, Tennessee. Sam was born and raised in New Castle, Indiana, where he met and married his wife, Susan. He earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in theology from Bob Jones University and then served seven years as an assistant pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Findlay, Ohio. The Polsons moved to Knoxville in 1986, where Sam has served as Lead Pastor for over 38 years. Sam and Susan have three grown children and five grandchildren. Sam advises the pastoral team and staff, teaches in large and small group settings, and is most energized by witnessing people come alive to the reality of the gospel. Sam's other books include In His Image, By Faith, SonLight, Corona Victus, Life Changing Prayer, Pathways, and My Mother's Bible.
