Since 1987, Michael Benner has taught Personal Development skills through mindfulness-based insight meditation, guided imagery, and hypnotherapy. He also trained and certified students in a 160-hour classroom training called "Meditative Hypnosis." His "Internal Vigilance" training was taught at the Orange County Sheriff's Academy in Anaheim, California.A radio personality for 40 years, he is well-known for his Los Angeles talk shows on KABC-AM, KLOS-FM, KLSX-FM, KCBS-FM, KRLA-AM, and KPFK-FM. He has received formal accolades and awards from the United Nations Association, the California State Senate, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, the American Red Cross, the Live and Learn Center, and the National Leukemia Broadcast Council.
