My name is Wilma R. Hill. I am forty-eight years old. I was born in Sinton, Texas. My mother's name is Eddie Mae Williams, and my father's name is Joe Hill. I grew up with loving parents and wonderful grandparents, Rev. and Sis. C. Williams. I have two sons. Their names are Cleophas and Theophilus Griffin. My eldest passed away at the age of seven from brain tumor, and it was hard to deal with, but with the help of God, I have learned to accept it. My youngest son is living in Houston with me. He is my life. He keeps me going. I wouldn't trade him for nothing in the world. I have three brothers-Anthony Moore Willie More, and Joe Hill -and one sister-Mary Conway. I love them all. We have our ups and downs, but they are my family. I don't want to leave out my mother's husband, Sammy Ray Williams, who has stepped in and looked after us as if we're his biological children. I also want to thank God for my goddaughter Sonya Smith who I love a lot. I always wanted a daughter, God sent her in my life, and I treat her as if I had her myself. And I want to thank God for my niece Cleophanque who also just like my daughter. I have had many good days and some bad ones too, but through it all, I have learned to trust in God. I have been through a lot, and I have seen a lot of thing. That's what gave me courage to write this book. I started writing things that people want to say but just don't know how to say them or things you might be thinking but just can't put them in words. It may be something you are feeling but afraid to say. I hope I will touch someone's life, and I pray that when you read my book, it will touch you spiritually as well as mentally. Thank you.
