Autorenporträt
Reza Noubary was born into an Azari family. He earned a BSc and MSc in mathematics from Tehran University and a MSc and PhD in probability and Geo-statistics from Manchester University in England. He has more than fifty years of experience working in universities in several countries, and has been a visiting scholar at several universities including Harvard, Princeton, Penn, and Catholieke University of Leuven.

Noubary lives with his wife in Pennsylvania. He has written several scientific books including two on earthquakes. His latest book "Reflections on Contemporary Life" was published in 2019.

In addition to this book, he just published a poetry book in Persian/Farsi.
