The book is a deconstructive narrative of how female characters have dismantled and resisted the masculine stereotypes often labelled on the females as a result of deep-seated patriarchal leaning of the African society and throughout the globe. As a gynocritic, Bole Asenath Odaga is a genius intellectual who produces textual meanings that are relevant to the contemporary world and she approaches literary meaning as reactive when diplomacy fails to reign.
