Fenn is a small brown bear who lives in a charming forest with all of his bear friends. One day, when Fenn is learning to roar, he discovers a shocking secret about himself-there's a blue patch on his fluffy brown fur! Not wanting to be different from all of his friends, Fenn learns to hide his blue. As the blue patch grows bigger and bigger, Fenn faces a tough choice: should he reveal his blueness to his friends, and trust that they will love him for who he is? Or should he keep pretending to be just like everyone else? As children grow and discover who they are, they often grapple with identity and self-acceptance. Fenn's Giant Blue Secret uses simple rhyming language and whimsical storytelling to show kids how important it is to be true to oneself. It promotes themes of friendship, acceptance, and being proud of who you are.
