Zorica Siröi¿ ¿is an assistant professor (since July 2021) in the Department of Sociology at the University of Graz in Austria. Prior to this position, she was a post-doctoral fellow of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (2020/21). She holds a PhD in sociology (University of Graz, 2019, with distinction), MA degree in political science (Central European University, 2010, with distinction) and a diploma in political science (University of Zagreb, 2009). Her PhD research on feminist festivals in Southeastern Europe was granted the Gabriele Possanner Award for excellence in gender research by the Austrian Ministry of Science, Education and Research (2019) and the SOWI In Dialog Award for the best doctoral thesis by the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of the University of Graz (2019).
