Poultry feed contains about 5-6% crude fiber but fiber degrading enzymes are absent in broilers. To utilize this portion of feed different fiber degrading enzymes are supplemented in poultry diets that enhance the growth performance and digestibility of nutrients. Total nine isoproteinous experimental diets were formulated with three enzyme levels (0, 500 and 1000 g/ton of feed) and three energy levels (ME: 2700, 2800 and 2900 kcal/kg of diet). The results suggested that enzyme (Rovabio TM Excel) supplementation at 1000g/ton of feed significantly improved body weight gain and feed conversion…mehr

The results suggested that enzyme (Rovabio TM Excel) supplementation at 1000g/ton of feed significantly improved body weight gain and feed conversion ratio in broilers. However no effect on feed intake and digestibility of nutrients was observed from 1st to 5th week of trial. However further research needed to determine the effect of enzyme supplementation on nutrient digestibility and broiler performance.
