Autorenporträt
Meredith Migliorato is from Greensboro, North Carolina and grew up in Monroe, New York. She graduated from Greensboro College where she played basketball and her jersey number was 23, just like Melinda. Coach M to her students, she is an elementary P.E. teacher who loves children, sports and her two dogs Lilly and Nugget. In 2012 she was named teacher of the year at her elementary school. A first time author, she was inspired to write this book through her love for children, her need to be creative and to give children who might do things a little differently a voice. Look for more books as Melinda gets herself into all kinds of funny situations.
