Salman Ahmed é licenciado em Farmácia pela Universidade de Carachi, Paquistão, e tem um doutoramento e um mestrado em Farmacognosia pela mesma instituição. É Professor Assistente no Departamento de Farmacognosia da Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade de Karachi, Paquistão, desde 2016. É autor de 109 artigos de investigação e 5 livros.
