José Bell Lara is Professor and Consultant of the University of Havana and researcher of the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO-Cuba). He has authored and co-authored numerous texts about Cuba and Latin America, including those in the series Documentos de la Revolución Cubana 1959-1970: Cuba: la generación revolucionaria 1952-1961; Cuba: las mujeres en la insurrección 1952-1961; Combatientes; and Cuba: período especial. Tania Caram León is a Professor at the University of Havana and researcher of the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO-Cuba).
