Autorenporträt
Carol Inskipp is a leading expert on the birds of southern Asia. Having had had a deep interest in birds from a very young age, especially in conservation and environment issues., Carol first visited the Indian subcontinent with her husband Tim in 1977. She has made numerous visits to the region since, and together with Richard Grimmett and Tim she has co-authored several bird field guides to the subcontinent. Carol has carried out extensive bird survey work widely in Nepal with Tim and later with Nepalese ornithologists. She has written a number of bird conservation books with Nepalis, including the National Nepal Bird Red List and Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas in Nepal.
