The prime objective of the hostel building is to provide an adequate thermal environment to the occupants for their good health and learning performance. The questionnaire-based study is being carried out following the principle of adaptive thermal comfort to collect the data of the thermal environment in the hostels. Statistical analysis of the collected data was carried to analyze the overall acceptability of occupants about existing thermal environment conditions during monsoon season, autumn season and winter season.
