Dare to do what is hard, what is right, and what is good--in love. Abby Johnson thought she knew what mercy was when she ushered desperate women toward abortion as the director of a Planned Parenthood facility. She was wrong. It wasn't until she understood the blood on her hands that she personally experienced the power of God's fierce yet tender mercy to transform her life. In Fierce Mercy, Abby calls you to experience a transformation of your own. Against the backdrop of her first decade involved in the pro-life movement, Abby helps you discover God's unrestrained mercy at work in your own life and take steps toward becoming a channel of that life-changing mercy in the world around you. She shows you how to model God's mercy, freely offer mercy to those who seem undeserving, respond with mercy when others err or offend, and bear witness to God's unrestrained compassion so that others may know him. "While many, if not most, hide or even double down after realizing a fatal flaw in what they believe, Abby changed her entire life. She was honest with God and with herself. God transformed her, and with any luck, he may also transform you into a deliverer of Fierce Mercy."--Glenn Beck, radio host and television producer "Just look around and you'll see a world that is hurting and broken--a world that desperately needs to know unconditional love and limitless compassion. In this book, Abby will challenge you to learn how to intentionally model God's mercy with a fearsome dedication to love broken people. I hope you will accept her challenge. We need Fierce Mercy now more than ever."--Janet Parshall, nationally syndicated talk show host
Autorenporträt
Abby Johnson has always been fiercely determined to help women in need. This desire is what led Abby to a career with Planned Parenthood and then caused her to flee the organization, becoming an outspoken advocate for the pro-life movement. Today, Abby travels the globe sharing her story, educating the public on pro-life issues, advocating for the unborn, and reaching out to abortion clinic staff who still work in the industry. She is the founder of ProLove Ministries and also And Then There Were None, a ministry designed to assist abortion clinic workers in transitioning out of the industry. To date, this ministry has helped over 600 workers leave the abortion industry. Abby lives in Texas with her husband and eight precious children.
