BARB HOWE is a poet, writer and author of the inspirational book called "Go Look in the Mirror" (2020) Find it on Amazon.ca. Her writing has connected, supported, and inspired others. This publication is another opportunity for her to encourage others and share a story of hope through an immensely difficult time.She has a creative writing side and has written and kept journals since childhood. She would keep writing as her son endures 90 days in and out of a coma, goes through over 79 surgeries, and then spend 200 plus days in the hospital.She lives in Coldstream, British Columbia with her husband and three dogs. She has strong family values and enjoys spending as much time with her 4 children. Her favorite pass time is having dress up tea parties with her 4 grandchildren.She will donate a portion of the proceeds from this book to the Canadian Blood Services to help support their continued efforts to save lives.She would like to give a special thanks to God for listening to her prayers, and the great community of family and friends and net work of the professionals: the specialist, doctors, nurses, and support staff of Vancouver General Hospital and GF Strong Rehabilitation; Air ambulance paramedics; the level 3 first aid attendant on the valley floor; and for all those who give blood and plasma. It truly is a life-giving gift.She was not ready to say good- bye to her son.
