The present work aims to design a filament extruder for 3D printing that uses recycled plastic material. Material that represents a major environmental problem and had a considerable increase in production in recent years. The dimensioning and selection of the elements present in the machine were developed, such as the extrusion set, the heating blanket, the electric motor, and the winding system. A digital model was made via CAD, calculations related to heat loss to the environment and pressure during filament manufacturing with the polymers normally used in FDM printers. Produktbeschreibung
The project shows the economic viability of manufacturing the equipment, both for the use of recycled and virgin material, reducing the costs of 3D printing and allowing less material to be discarded.
