This research explored the possible relationship among self-esteem, social anxiety and social media usage. The study included 107 high school students from Jesus Christ Saves Global Outreach Christian Academy. A descriptive correlational method was used to complete the process of the study. This research explored the possible relationship among self-esteem, social anxiety and social media usage. The study included 107 high school students from Jesus Christ Saves Global Outreach Christian Academy. A descriptive correlational method was used to complete the process of the study. Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale, Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale and Social Media Scale, a self-made scale on social media were given to measure the self-esteem, social anxiety and social media usage of the respondents. Results show that the respondents have low level of self-esteem, moderate social anxiety and an average of once to thrice a week of social media exposure. Analysis of data also revealed significant negative relationship between self-esteem and social media usage, significant positive relationship between social anxiety and social media usage and significant negative relationship between self-esteem and social anxiety.
