The black hole in the centre of the festival galaxy had eaten enough, had drawn many observers through its event horizon to the secret initiation ritual of a new culture to be founded. Deep basses had rolled across the ground like gravity waves, their roaring even escaping the spell circle, travelling as far as the surrounding villages, whose inhabitants received no news of what was happening beyond the horizon. But this shaking of the ground could be felt in the universe outside the singularity realm. Bright lights were shot vertically into the air like a Lorenz force or the jet of matter accelerated to almost the speed of light, unable to penetrate the supersaturated black star, the gamma-ray burst of an accretion disc.
