Political philosophy is essential to all forms of thought and action in the lives of citizens and the institutions that make up today's society. Political philosophy can give a deep meaning to what society wants and seeks. Therefore, political philosophy should be approached as a science applied to political and social reality, to give it an ethical and humanistic orientation. In this way, philosophy ceases to be an abstract thought and can be an engine of citizenship and institutional collective action, and create true citizenship competences. Thus, the subject of political philosophy must start from reality and always be committed to action.
