Autorenporträt
Marla J. Selvidge, Ph.D., is Professor Emerita (That means she is retired!). She founded the Center for Religious Studies in 1990 and directed its growth, developing scores of courses, as well as academic and public programs. She specialized in feminist and peace studies. Having published numerous academic texts and articles. Since her retirement she has published many popular books. Hailing from Roseville, Michigan, (Just outside of Detroit) she has spent most of her career in Higher Education. Marla resides with her spouse and long-time friend, Thomas C. Hemling, Ph.D., a Chemist, and two beloved canines, Princess Twinkers and Hillary (Madame President), in a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri.
