Die Autorin hat einen Abschluss in Zootechnik von der Staatlichen Universität von Mato Grosso do Sul und einen Master in Veterinärwissenschaften von der Bundesuniversität von Lavras. Sie hat Erfahrung in der Tierzucht, mit Schwerpunkt auf der Tierproduktion, und arbeitet hauptsächlich in den Bereichen: Rentabilitätsanalyse, Produktionskosten und Rinderproduktion, Ernährung und Fütterung.
