Dr. Julie Bonner is currently a tenured professor at Central Washington University in the information technologyand administrative management department. Her career has spanned business and education for over 30 years. Initially, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, whereafter she earned an MBA and then a doctorate in organizational leadership.

Dr. Julie Bonner's career has spanned business and education for over 30 years. Initially, received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, eventually earned an MBA and then a doctorate in Organizational Leadership. In business, Dr. Bonner worked in a combination of full-time roles and consulting roles in accounting, specifically either working as a full-time accountant or working in information technology roles supporting the accounting function. Since 2001, she has been either a part-time educator or serving in full-time academic leadership roles. Dr. Bonner is currently a tenured professor at Central Washington University in the Information Technology and Administrative Management department. One of her passions is to help teach the non-accounting and finance professional. She has spent years refining and honing an approach to teaching the non-financial person how to embrace this knowledge with confidence. Her goal is to reach more and more people with this knowledge and to reach the point where students in college or the professional world can be inquisitive and curious about the world of accounting and finance. In addition, she has collaborated with Dr. Jaclyn Krause and Dr. Laura Portolese in 2018 to write a book called, Entrepreneurship, through Flatworld (Boston Academic Publishing) out of Boston, MA.
