This study examines the effect of bank financial intermediation on the performance of agricultural sector in Nigeria between 1986 and 2017. Chapter one was made of eight parts: Introduction, Statement of the Problem, Research Questions, Objectives of the Study, Research hypotheses, Scope, Significance and Operational Definitions of terms. Chapter two deals with the review of relevant literatures in the fields of Finance and Agriculture by dividing this chapter into three parts: Conceptual, Theoretical and Empirical reviews. In chapter three, methodology for carrying out the study is explained in details. Chapter four is made up of four component parts: Data analysis and interpretation of findings, Test of hypotheses, discussions of findings and Summary of findings. The study ends with chapter five which clarifies and establishes the conclusion of the findingsas well as the recommendations for resolving some of the problems identified in the course of the study.
