This study strives to provide a theory of the financing mechanisms of the local health system in the context of LICs. It also presents a summary of the conditions and assumptions that health actors can face to ensure the strengthening sustainability of the local health system. The hypotheses of the theoretical framework served as a common thread for the analysis and presentation of the initial themes and for the confrontation of the hypotheses with the empirical data and the financing strategies. The research is carried out with four sources of qualitative and quantitative. The epistemological posture used stems from the nature of the problems identified in this research. The pragmatic constructivist approach made it possible to respond to and explain observable phenomena relating to the processes leading to the strengthening of the local health system following adequate funding in LICs field. The results show that strengthening the health system is a combination of funding from several health actors. Using mixed financing mechanisms, we propose health financing strategies adapted to the specificities of LICs.
