Most studies and research on economic development increasingly point to the potential of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as a factor in economic growth. The reasons for this are essentially the ease of their management, the speed of their reaction and their propensity to adapt to the requirements of an increasingly pressing environment. SMEs are now a major component of the economic fabric of most economies, whether developed or developing. In Morocco, the economic and industrial landscape cannot be dissociated from that of SMEs, which constitute about 95% of its productive fabric. So useful to the economies, they are also essential to the development of the territories because SMEs play an important role in the economic dynamics and are real factors of employment promotion and wealth sharing.
