Sarah Arnot Mulhern is a Partner at Heidrick & Struggles, the global executive search and consulting firm, where she provides leadership development and executive assessment services to Boards, CEOs and senior executives across the globe. Sarah's career spans more than 25 years, most of it spent at Accenture, Spencer Stuart, the Woodburn Mann Leadership Science Institute, which she founded, and now Heidrick & Struggles. She has lived and worked in Ireland, France, the UK and South Africa. As an Executive Search consultant at Spencer Stuart in Paris and London, she led the European Internet Practice and the European Software Practice. When Sarah moved to South Africa, she invested in her passion to guide CEOs and Executive Committee Members of large corporates through the challenges of leadership and their personal leadership journeys. She consults Boards and CEOs on CEO succession planning and top team effectiveness. She also coaches CEOs and has featured on CapeTalk, Power FM, eNCA, CNBC and SABC for her insights on leadership. Sarah's second book, Keep Your Focus: 40 thought-pieces on maintaining your top performance, is also published by KR Publishing.Sarah holds BA (Hons) and MA degrees from Trinity College, Dublin and an MPhil (Executive Coaching) from the University of Stellenbosch Business School. In addition, she is an ambitious equestrian athlete in the sport of eventing.
