Autorenporträt
Gene K. J. Kopczyk overcame being labeled as a learning-disabled child to graduate from high school in 1993. While in high school, he won awards for creative writing. He earned his degree from the University of Michigan in 1999. He was asked to consider a position in the writing center at the University and also received awards for higher education while at the University of Michigan. Gene and his wife Jennifer live in Michigan, where he now owns a multidimensional company. He and Jennifer also own For Life Health and Fitness, a fitness studio where the trainers set their own schedule and be their own boss. Kopczyk has sat on public boards in his community, and also donated time to several charitable organizations as well as the American Cancer Society and won a local Relay for Life award for the highest donations earned as a team member on the Hope Kills Cancer team.
