A practical understanding of the new covenant is important to each believer. This work is intended to help believers understand the dynamics of the new covenant in three dimensions as Jesus teaches through John's Gospel and other Scriptures. The transition from the old covenant to the new covenant was a real struggle for the first-century church, as evidenced by the first church council in Jerusalem (Acts 15). Just as the Apostle Peter had difficulty with it, this struggle continues today through many different movements that undermine the purity of the gospel of grace and cause great division within the church. A spiritual understanding of the new covenant as a three-dimensional relationship with God opens the door for each believer to experience all that God has prepared for all. R. W. (Bill) Alderson - a graduate of Maryland Bible College & Seminary, was ordained as a minister in 1994 and planted a church in the Cleveland, OH area in 1998 and was its pastor for 12 years. He has also spent many years ministering in nursing homes and teaching residents at the Salvation Army. Pastor Bill has a passion to study the Word of God intensely and has received divine inspiration, especially on the subject of the new covenant. He is currently an Associate Pastor at Greater Grace World Outreach in Baltimore, MD, an international missions-oriented church with more than 750 affiliated churches around the world. He and his wife have six children and ten grandchildren, and they live in Havre de Grace, MD.
