About the Author Dr. Mike Williamson has been my friend and colleague for more than fifty years. We were roommates in college and then served for a decade as professors at the University of Southern California. What I appreciate most about Mike is his lifelong commitment to Jesus Christ. I have never seen him compromise his faith in any regard. Now, Mike has turned his talents to writing poetry that is based entirely on Scripture. I wish him well in this endeavor. It is a pleasure to call Mike Williamson my friend. James Dobson, PhD, Founder and President, Family Talk =============================================================== Dr. Mike Williamson served four years with distinction in the US Navy from 1950-54. He earned a BS degree from Pasadena College, 1959, and Master's and PhD degrees from the University of Southern California, 1965 and 1970, respectively. He was the recipient of the annual USC Alumni Association Honor Award for Outstanding Masters Research. He served on the staff at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles eight years, then on the Faculty of USC School of Medicine, an additional twenty-five years as a professor and research consultant. He was the principal designer, Chief Biostatistician and Co-investigator of the national Collaborative Study of Children Treated for Phenylketonuria. Dr. Williamson published over sixty scholarly research articles in peer review scientific journals, manuals and books. He prizes two books he authored in poetic verse; this one, and one entitled Finding God through Science, From Fact to Faith. He also co-founded Computrition, Inc., a leading company in food service management software. Mike and his wife, Jan, have four adult children and nine grandchildren. They live in Wilsonville, Oregon, where Mike spends his time writing, speaking, traveling, and fishing.
