Having survived sexual assault in childhood, and a twelve-year marriage of emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual abuse, she seeks to shine light on the signs, symptoms, and consequences of abuse. She is committed to helping others heal by offering concrete strategies and hard-learned insights. A retired nurse, L.F. Survivor volunteers at a local sexual assault support centre in Ontario, where she lives with her son and her dog, Wallie.
