The roadway is the most commonly used means of transportation in Brazil, which is mostly composed of flexible pavements that must withstand stresses from traffic and weather actions throughout their service life. One way to study the performance of flexible pavements and characterize their materials occurs through their Fine Aggregate Matrix (FAG). The advantages of the MAF is that it presents more homogeneous results in laboratory tests, using a smaller amount of materials. Thus, the study of the mechanical performance of the MAF and its behavior related to the original Asphalt Compound Mixture (MAC) is necessary. Therefore, this study seeks to convey knowledge of the behavior and properties of fine asphalt mixtures so that engineering students acquire content that enables practical and appropriate ways to evaluate these mixtures mechanically.
