Autorenporträt
Kara "Picante" Muir is an illustrator, crafts artist, blogger, belly dancer, and competitive air guitarist (it's a thing). She is currently undergoing treatment for colorectal cancer. After being diagnosed, she drew pet portraits and re-illustrated a children's book she originally self-published through Blurb in 2011. Having practically raised her four siblings herself and given story time to countless kids, Kara Muir loves the imagination of children, but also appreciates the value of providing a few "tee-hee's" for their parents. Although what's so funny about a pug who loses her precious beaver? How would you like it if you lost your beaver?
