Autorenporträt
Carole T. Beers, a former reporter and columnist for The Seattle Times, is the author of 12 books, including The Pepper Kane Mysteries and Granny Oakley Mysteries. She earned a Women Writing the West WILLA Literary Award for the original version of this book, and a bronze Will Rogers Medallion Award (Western humor) for "Granny GetsHer Gun." Once a nationally recognized horse-show competitor, she resides and rides her horse in southern Oregon. Her family includes her husband, a Boston terrier, a cat and a budgie.
