Autorenporträt

James Anderson was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Followed by a stint in the army during the Korean War, he attended the University of Washington and obtained a PhD in linguistics and history. Now retired from university teaching, he lives in Vancouver, British Columbia. He has published about sixteen nonfiction books, mostly on European historical topics, and spends much of his time in Europe traveling and doing research.
