Autorenporträt
Ann Scott Moncrieff was born in Orkney in 1914 and died in Nairn in 1943. During her short life, she was a journalist, author, and poet who was immortalized by Edwin Muir in his poem "To Ann." This is the third in the series of republications by Scotland Street Press of her children's books. Feodor Rojan was a Russian émigré illustrator. He is well known for children's book illustration. He won the 1956 Caldecott Medal for U.S. picture book illustration from the American Library Association, recognizing Frog Went A-Courtin' by John Langstaff.
