Some may believe everything was created in some way (actually most people do). Some may believe in a "spontaneous event" like the Big Bang - many people believe that. But the operative word here is believe. We use words like know, believe, fact and truth, and we sort of use them interchangeably - but they're not the same. What about Creation or Evolution? Do you know how the world began? How the universe began? How life began? You may think you do, but you don't know - not really. What do you think? What do you believe? What do you know? Well, this book, First and Foremost, explores all of these topics and sets the stage for much more investigation of truth versus belief versus negotiated truth in a series of non-fiction books to follow. So, open your mind, think, and come along for the ride.

Autorenporträt
Steve Bruttig crafted a career from military service, investigative medical science, the business of science management, consulting, and volunteering, once he retired. For a time, he was also a merchant. All of these roles caused him to observe his surroundings, life, people, science and the world. An interest in cosmology caused him to question the universe and its form and function. And his faith helped him put it all in perspective. Thus, he began to search and to write about what he saw, read or found - hence his first book, First and Foremost and now this second book, Green Legs and Man. Today, Steve is retired and writing, and lives with his wife on a small family farm in rural Nebraska. They have a son, a daughter, a son-in-law and two grandchildren.
